Influencia de las tecnologías de la información en el proceso de formación de competencias de los futuros profesores

Resumen

El objetivo del estudio presentado en este artícul1o es examinar el impacto de las tecnologías de la información en el proceso de desarrollo de las competencias de los futuros profesores y en la enseñanza de la biología. A partir de los datos recogidos durante las entrevistas con 27 futuros profesores de biología que utilizaron las TI en sus estudios, se identificaron cinco categorías de impacto de las TI en el desarrollo de competencias, a saber: mejorar el acceso a la información, ampliar las oportunidades de aprendizaje, aumentar la eficacia de las actividades de investigación, desarrollar habilidades de comunicación, garantizar la autoformación continua; y tres categorías principales de impacto de las TI en los estudiantes, a saber: mejorar la calidad de las competencias de investigación de los estudiantes, desarrollar habilidades de análisis, razonamiento, modelización y resolución.
