Aproximación al uso del BLOG como recurso de enseñanza y aprendizaje

Abstract

Internet is a means by which we can obtain updated information, and where interactive environments with the global community are created. A blog is a simple website which allows the inclusion of multimedia tools; an integrative resource of texts, images, audio and video. The present investigation analyzes the educative use of blogs within teaching and learning scenarios. In order to achieve this goal, the main features of a blog, as well as some blog service providers, and additional multimedia tools are exposed. Some tests where blogs are used as a teaching and learning resource are meant to stimulate the
educative use of such tool. The research was framed under the qualitative methodology, with documentary techniques, based
on edublogs, virtual presentations, web pages and the author’s personal experience. It offers strategies to be applied in the classroom according to the subject matter. In a word, the blog is offered as an alternative with global access, that allows the
teacher-student interaction, which diversifies the traditional collaborative of learning processes.
