About the Journal

Eduweb, the Journal of Information and Communication Technology in Education, is a quarterly publication edited by the University of Carabobo. This medium of knowledge dissemination explores the use, application, and experiences of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in educational environments. The journal seeks to spread innovations in ICT that are being implemented and tested at different levels and modalities of the educational system worldwide. Additionally, it aims to showcase the experiences of undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, researchers, and ICT specialists in education at the University of Carabobo and other international universities. Eduweb is a peer-reviewed and indexed journal, affiliated with the Distance Education Research Unit of the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Carabobo, and it accepts research and authors from around the world.

To be an academic-scientific space for the dissemination and spread of the various trends of universal thought located in the field of ICT in educational environments, with high levels of academic quality.

Mission

To promote and facilitate the dissemination and spread of the products of research and experiences from teachers and researchers at the University of Carabobo and other universities in the country and around the world in the area of ICT in educational environments; to encourage participation in common networks of national and international information and publication; to coordinate efforts and ensure the quality of publications in order to raise the academic level of faculty and researchers by developing research work as an essential function of their academic growth.

Objectives

To serve as an organ for the dissemination of ICT and their influence in educational environments. To stimulate intellectual production not only among teachers and researchers at the University of Carabobo, but also in other educational and research centers nationally and internationally.

To foster cultural, academic, scientific, and technological exchange with other higher education institutions in Venezuela and worldwide.
