This research presents the teaching strategy EDI, defining architecture as a guideline for creating high quality computerized
educational materials, with high levels of reuse, representing a facilitator resource capable of improving teaching and learning processes. It was an action research gathering comprehensive information from processes of development, software engineering, agile methodologies and other disciplines in the educational technology field. Firstly, it was performed a technical and didactic rigorous analysis related to ICT functional possibilities, and secondly, their integration into a comprehensive
didactic approach.
