This article addresses theoretical principles related to software development processes and their importance in the design and
development of computerized educational materials in virtual learning contexts. It emphasizes the importance of software
documentation and the user's requirements to achieve maximum satisfaction levels and quality end recycling products spending less effort and time. It was an action research and it is the product of different experiences and presentations made in the subject of Computer Science IV, Department of Informatics, School of Education at the University of Carabobo.
