Teachers’ basic skills in educational use of information and communication technology at the bolivarian high school "Jacinto Lara"

The objective was to determine teachers’ basic skills in the educational use of Information and Communication Technologies
(ICTs) at the Bolivarian high school “Jacinto Lara”. The sample of the present descriptive transversal field research consisted
of twenty four teachers to whom they were applied a questionnaire. Results confirmed teachers in general have basic skills
in the educational use of ICTs; 95% have ICT knowledge, and maintain a positive attitude towards their integration in the learning processes, but do not have enough skills to implement them in their teaching practice.
