Instructional Design Models: Gagné and Briggs, Davis, Dick, Carey and Carey, CDAVA.Abstract
This research introduces four instructional models: Gagné and Briggs, Davis, Dick, Carey and Carey, and CDAVA de Medina,
to conduct a thorough evaluation, to assess and highlight the methodological aspect implied in them. They also set the basis
to establish viable criteria to design a teaching strategy. These models´ reviews were the basis of the study because they helped researchers to make comparisons between stages, components and operations. Particularly, the following elements were taken into account: the instructional analysis, the context, students, the design of course objectives and evaluation tools; the instructional development strategy, the development or choice of instructional materials, and finally, the summative and formative evaluations.
