Abstract

We are living in an era of profound transition between a society marked by industry and another signed by the information
processing and telecommunications. It is necessary to identify elements that need to be adjusted or renewed and those
components that allow us to overcome contradictions to bring education to new requirements of the Knowledge Society.
What changes are needed? From the field of Philosophy, it is suggested a paradigm shift, the Modernity thought, the subject or the consciousness that had been operating since Descartes, by language and the philosophy of the Heideggerianbeing. From the field of Education, there is the emergence of informational pedagogy as a result of Pérez (2000) technological change and Castell (2001) Informational Society. Changes in educational means evolve into multimedia systems, with significant weight of the image of sound (TV,Internet, learning platforms, nets…). Changes in the teacher´s performance: The informational instructional design must be directed to the use of educational methods and techniques for the use of the NICTs, creating new strategies to access to relevant and timely information. Changes in the student, aimed to learn to organize information from different contexts, to develop cognitive structures more complex than the simple response to previous designed screens, as well as to transfer them in a flexible and versatile way to new organizational scenarios, situations and problems.
