FACES ANTE LAS NUEVAS TECNOLOGIAS DE INFORMACION Y COMUNICACIÓN. POTENCIANDO EDUCACION Y APRENDIZAJE.

Abstract

In 2006, The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FACES) began to incorporate the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC’s), in the teaching and learning process which has generated a set of isolated efforts for its accomplishment. For this reason, the present study tries to compile experiences related to the application of the Virtual Education and the use of TIC’s in the education processes to establish bases that may allow the formulation of strategies orientated to consolidate the incorporation of the TIC’s in the education process of FACES. A diagnostic investigation was carried out, descriptive and field type, allowing the documentation of findings. It is concluded that authorities of FACES are willing to generate the necessary resources towards the implementation of this process, since it has been recognized as a stimulating instrument for the education process. For that reason, strategies and programs have to be made to promote the development of this field, considering not only the effective teaching but also the administrative process, as well as the use of enterprise technologies in the education of subjects.
