INTEGRACION CURRICULAR DE INTERNET EN EL DESARROLLO PRESENCIAL DE UNA UNIDAD DIDACTICA DE LA ASIGNATURA PROYECTO DE INVESTIGACION DE LA ESCUELA DE BIOANALISIS

Abstract

Internet is an informational source which is able to be transformed in knowledge, and it is also a platform where to develop learning long distance experiences. The subject “Field Re- search Project”, at the School of Bioanalysis, aims to provide methodological tools for students who apply learned skills in previous courses, to design their research project. In this process, students show a greater degree of difficulty to develop Chapter I. In a preliminary phase of this investigation, it was accomplished a descriptive diagnosis studio to detect causes of this problem. It reveals poor theoretical domain to approach the theme; in fact, the large amount of non-classified online information, as well as thoughtless students, were the two key factors to use lower degree of scientific material. Thus, the objective of this proposal was to incorporate a didactic strategy based on the use of Internet to be able to improve the use of databases and to gather high quality scientific information. Therefore, the design of the present proposal was based on the adoption of a feasible project and the application of Romero’s (2000) methodology to integrate ICT in the curriculum development
